First Aid for Teens & Tweens A Standard First Aid Course Designed Just for Youth Ages 11–17!
This course offers the full Standard First Aid certification, tailored specifically to meet the learning styles and needs of teens and tweens. It’s perfect for youth who want to feel more confident and capable in emergency situations—whether at home, school, or out in the community.
Who Can Join? Open to participants aged 11 to 17. To receive certification, participants must be able to physically perform all required hands-on skills, including delivering CPR with adequate depth and force.
What Makes This Course Different from a Traditional Standard First Aid Class? While the content and certification remain the same, the structure and delivery are designed with youth in mind:
Spread Over 3 Days: Instead of two long days, the course is split into three shorter sessions—each about the length of a regular school day 9am-3pm
Interactive and Engaging: More hands-on activities, games, and group work make learning fun and memorable.
Youth-Friendly Language: All concepts are explained using language and examples that make sense to this age group.
Supportive Environment: A welcoming, inclusive space where teens and tweens can ask questions, practice skills, and build confidence without pressure.
Whether your teen is looking to boost their babysitting credentials, prepare for summer camp roles, or just be ready to help in emergencies, this course is a perfect fit.
